Welcome to our little slice of paradise! Clear Lake Shores is probably one of the best kept secrets in the entire Bay Area. Yes we are an island. We are surrounded by Clear Lake, Jarbo Bayou and the Lazy Bend canals. Plug this in to Google Maps and you'll see what I mean 29.32' by 95.01' We are about half way between Galveston Island and the city of Houston and located in north Galveston county. I will try to keep us up on all the goings on that we can walk, boat, bike or drive our golf carts to. Very few things pi$$ me off but one of them is wasting my precious time. I'll try not to waste yours. Enjoy. ab

Well that was a nice nap. What day is it? Where the hell did all these stop signs come from? To control speed you say? Just what we need….said no one ever.
I spoke with Mayor Johnson last night. He’s back at the VA and it looks like they want to open him up and fix the problem valve. I’ll say a little prayer for him.
Got a new project. We’ll call it project C for Camper. B is already taken by the Boat. Ever remove a 40 year old leaky

gas tank? The fun is unimaginable. It’s a 1964 Aljo. We are pretty sure. At least that’s what the last 3 owners agreed to on the bill of Sale. We finally got a new floor and sheathing in it. While there were a few water signs on the inside we didn’t know for sure if the beast leaked or not and if so just how bad. Then it rained and answered all our questions. You’ll notice this morning there is a tarp over the whole thing. The good news is not all the windows leaked. The small one over the galley area looked OK. It’s the other eleven that need work. Oh, and the entire port/street side of the roof. Next step is to pull the windows out so we can seal the roof. Off to Dues Camper & RV. That's where my new friend Dean works.
Oh, It's National Mole Day. Not that mole. You'll have to look that one up. I did andI still don't understand it.
