Welcome to our little slice of paradise! Clear Lake Shores is probably one of the best kept secrets in the entire Bay Area. Yes we are an island. We are surrounded by Clear Lake, Jarbo Bayou and the Lazy Bend canals. Plug this in to Google Maps and you'll see what I mean 29.32' by 95.01' We are about half way between Galveston Island and the city of Houston and located in north Galveston county. I will try to keep us up on all the goings on that we can walk, boat, bike or drive our golf carts to. Very few things pi$$ me off but one of them is wasting my precious time. I'll try not to waste yours. Enjoy. ab

                                  MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!

From our neighbors in Kemah
Today 03/08/2014, I took a call in reference to an H/M with tattoos on his face that  approached an 18 y/o female who was alone and had just gotten into her vehicle.  The H/M attempted to get into the vehicle from the passenger side but the door was locked.  The H/M asked the female to let him in and she stated no.  The H/M then asked “are you sure” then walked away, got into a blue truck and drove off.  The incident occurred yesterday 03/07/2014 at approximately 12:41pm.  The female was afraid to call police but told her mother about the incident today.  This is the second incident that I am aware of at our Walmart this week.  The other involved a friend who called me personally.  She stated that two H/M with tattoos,  in a black truck attempted to get her to walk over their truck, saying they wanted to show her something.  It is unknown if these incidents are connected, but keep a close eye out in the Walmart parking lot for Suspicious males matching the scrip.

Bait and switch nice try AB butno one is going to buy the two hours a month claim. Maybe if you don't throw any parties have any activities skip a meeting now and then and don't do anything else it might only take two hours a month. We all know how many hours you have put into the civic club and we sure do appreciate it. We think you should just keep the job for five or six more years

There I was on 2094 waiting for the light to make a left hand turn into CLS. A huge moving van turned in and missed our beautiful new lights by not a whole lot. Whew. Sure wish the lights could have been about 2 ft. higher.
