Welcome to our little slice of paradise! Clear Lake Shores is probably one of the best kept secrets in the entire Bay Area. Yes we are an island. We are surrounded by Clear Lake, Jarbo Bayou and the Lazy Bend canals. Plug this in to Google Maps and you'll see what I mean 29.32' by 95.01' We are about half way between Galveston Island and the city of Houston and located in north Galveston county. I will try to keep us up on all the goings on that we can walk, boat, bike or drive our golf carts to. Very few things pi$$ me off but one of them is wasting my precious time. I'll try not to waste yours. Enjoy. ab

Do we have a talley on how much was raised?

More money would've been raised had I been able to get In a last second bid on the Jordy Nelson (Green Bay Packers) signed football and Lambeau Leap pic!!! Does anyone know who donated that? Is there more where that came from??

Ben, That was a great event. Frank never stopped smileing and what a collection of talant. Just a great day. After it was over and we were cleaning up several of the off Island folks and introduced themselves to me. They were asking if I lived here and were making several comments about our Island. One lady went on and on about how generous we are here and what a special place it is. Another person told me she had never met so many nice pepole. One lady ask me several questions about us and asked if we did this for others in need. I repeated one of AB's quotes that if you holler for help in CLS you better stand back because we are comeing. She said she hoped I appreciated how lucky I was to live here. I have known for almost 25 years how lucky I am and I will never take it for granted. Good job everyone! Michelle. I know how bad you wanted that ball but when you tried to wrestle it away from that poor little kid who out bid you I thought that was too much......Just kidding she didn't do that.........right? Somebody needs to get Michelle something signed by this guy before she goes postal.

I love it here!

I won't go postal, but I will do my own Lambeau Leap if anyone knows where the Jordy Nelson memorabilia came from. # 87 is my favorite!! My birthday present from Rob was Jordy's jersey. And my anniversary present was a share of the Green Bay Packers stock. So I am officially part owner of the best NFL team ever. And yes, I've been a fan since I was a wee thing living in Chicago so this is not a fleeting obsession. Just a life-long one. So seriously, I've got to know who donated Jordy Nelson stuff! Is there more????

P.S. Packers play the Texans on October 14 in Reliant! Anyone else going? Go Pack Go!
