IslandDrumz

Welcome to our little slice of paradise! Clear Lake Shores is probably one of the best kept secrets in the entire Bay Area. Yes we are an island. We are surrounded by Clear Lake, Jarbo Bayou and the Lazy Bend canals. Plug this in to Google Maps and you'll see what I mean 29.32' by 95.01' We are about half way between Galveston Island and the city of Houston and located in north Galveston county. I will try to keep us up on all the goings on that we can walk, boat, bike or drive our golf carts to. Very few things pi$$ me off but one of them is wasting my precious time. I'll try not to waste yours. Enjoy. ab

Happy Halloween Y'all!

I know I don't have totell you to be careful but I won't let that stop me from telling you to be careful. For all you noobs out there, this Island will be absolutely crawling with off Islanders who are not familiar with our skinny ass streets. Those are the ones to watch out for. And if you happen to see some booger eating moron on his phone you have my permission to set phazers to vaporize and remove it from the gene pool.

It all kicks off with the Children's Halloween Party at the Club House from 4-6.
"Get your goblins ready for a spooktacular good time at the Civic Club Kids Halloween Party October 31, 4:00 to 6:00 at the club house.
A big THANK YOU to volunteer chair AMY HOPSON and SARAH BREEN for stepping forward to make this happen. "

It ends with the Costume Party at Aspens

Tami Two's claims of pollution under Farmers Market is going to cost the City close to $3,000. I say he foots the bill if this study supports the prior study that showed no pollution.

Perhaps it is worth it if it shuts him up.

Great old time movie design on the much needed new marquee! So many improvements are happening!

What's the plan for the pavilion? It needs so much. I get that it was the bare bones, but if garage doors go in it will be sad, very sad.

The current plan for the pavilion upgrade does include roll up doors on the north and south sides but there is more than just that. We will be voting on it at the City Council Meeting on Tuesdat night so come out and support it,

The marquee sign looks great. Should the poles be painted white? They are black now,

The last time I spoke with a Polish person about his color, he was quite happy with his appearance....
