IslandDrumz

Welcome to our little slice of paradise! Clear Lake Shores is probably one of the best kept secrets in the entire Bay Area. Yes we are an island. We are surrounded by Clear Lake, Jarbo Bayou and the Lazy Bend canals. Plug this in to Google Maps and you'll see what I mean 29.32' by 95.01' We are about half way between Galveston Island and the city of Houston and located in north Galveston county. I will try to keep us up on all the goings on that we can walk, boat, bike or drive our golf carts to. Very few things pi$$ me off but one of them is wasting my precious time. I'll try not to waste yours. Enjoy. ab

Roz, The photo you posted on FB of the island's least favorite couple made me want to throw up. I don't give a shit if they bought one of your photos. Do you realize the amount of the City's time and money they are wasting in their lawsuit to no where? George Jones has way more important things to do to keep this place functioning. I heard FEMA had to pay a visit to the grey house. Her tears may work on Patrick, FEMA was not swayed. GO FEMA.

We have been waiting to hear when the engraved bricks, round 2, is going to start. WTH is stopping them?

Saw the birdhouse stand - it will be so cool. How do sign up to help paint the birdhouses?

Even though I am emotionally a 7th grader, I can surf the Internet. I found a photo of someone I can't stand and it looks like they have a fun life. I am filled with anger and resentment because they are not miserable like me. I will talk trash about them and write ugly comments about them on a blog. I hate that these people that I dislike are litigating a dispute instead of handling it like typical 13 year olds. I want everyone to dislike these people so I will label them "the island's least favorite couple" and make sure my clique follows my crippled thinking. GO ME!

Looks like Lynda is reading the blog.

Thanks for taking down the photo of them.

Clear Lake Shores is becoming like California...full of fruits, nuts, & flakes. But I love y'all the same. Please, please keep up the entertainment with the petty bickering...it brings back fond (and some not-so-fond) memories of my 15 years of elementary school. I was so proud when I was promoted from the fourth to the fifth grade, I could hardly shave without cutting myself.

Confounded by the notion that anyone who read her ugly screed would disagree with her, she made the faulty assumption that the posting came from her target. Discomforted by the possibility of her wrong thinking she slumped into her pillow of denial. She calmed her small mind with her familiar mean thoughts but couldn't escape the smell. She stunk mightily.

To the Anon asking how he/she can sign up to help paint the birdhouses....thanks for the offer but the LBAC Committee is already well under way with the effort and we are good with resources for now.

However, if you would like to assist with the next couple of projects send me an e-mail and I will get you hooked up with our Chairman. We have a number of new projects in the works.

I hung three small pieces of art at the Childrens Library today. A baby deer, three baby chicks, and the two weiner dogs dressed up like cowgirls at the Barkfest.

I hope no one has an issue with me posting those pictures......I don't want to offend any baby haters out there. Ha!
