Welcome to our little slice of paradise! Clear Lake Shores is probably one of the best kept secrets in the entire Bay Area. Yes we are an island. We are surrounded by Clear Lake, Jarbo Bayou and the Lazy Bend canals. Plug this in to Google Maps and you'll see what I mean 29.32' by 95.01' We are about half way between Galveston Island and the city of Houston and located in north Galveston county. I will try to keep us up on all the goings on that we can walk, boat, bike or drive our golf carts to. Very few things pi$$ me off but one of them is wasting my precious time. Sweet!

My thermo meter says its 72 and here it is almost noon. Just checked my rain gauge on the deck and it has 4" in it. I feel like i won the lottery. Well at least a scratch off. This is me opening up the doors.

Entries: $10 per entry, no limit per team

Categories include:

·      Brisket
·      Ribs, Pork, Baby Back or St. Louis Cut
(boneless country style pork “ribs” are NOT allowed)
·      Chicken, No restrictions
·      Pork, other than ribs listed above
(boneless country style pork “ribs” ARE acceptable)
·      Beans, No restrictions
·      Dessert, No restrictions
·      Chef’s Choice, No restrictions   

Turn in starts at 4:30 pm.  BBQ plates will be available for sale starting at 5:00 pm.  However, the teams will be out there working hard all day so even if you are not cooking please plan to come out early, support the teams, and make a day of it.

Registration Deadline for cooking is September 30th!
