Welcome to our little slice of paradise! Clear Lake Shores is probably one of the best kept secrets in the entire Bay Area. Yes we are an island. We are surrounded by Clear Lake, Jarbo Bayou and the Lazy Bend canals. Plug this in to Google Maps and you'll see what I mean 29.32' by 95.01' We are about half way between Galveston Island and the city of Houston and located in north Galveston county. I will try to keep us up on all the goings on that we can walk, boat, bike or drive our golf carts to. Very few things pi$$ me off but one of them is wasting my precious time. I'll try not to waste yours. Enjoy. ab

Let it rain...

Hard to believe it's been 5 years since Ike came to visit. It was the first anniversary of Ike that we started having our "Block Party" It was a great trout ands we all had stories to tell. Well here we are 5 years on and it's time for the
Block Party again. It's this afternoon 5-7 Birch and Lazy or thereabouts, BYOB and come visit with your neighbors. We'll have a couple of tables set up so if you want to bring a snack to share you won't have to hold it.

Right after the block party it's Jammin' on Jarboe with Hannahs Reef Saturday 7-10 and come hungry! We will be cooking gourmet burgers for donations with all proceeds going to fund Jammin'. As you know the budget for Jammin' was cut drastically this year so we're counting on everyone who supports the concerts to show up and help us keep it going a little longer. We'll have Blue Burgers, 1014 Burgers and of course there will be Bacon Burgers. For the burger challenged among us there will also be hot dogs. Yum!
See y'all there!
