A big fat WELCOME HOME to neighbor Lee Johnson and to all of his guardian angels, Thanks from all the rest of us.
Who came home down 2094 this afternoon from the west? Tell me you didn't smile from ear to ear (like I did) when you saw all the marvelous punkin's hanging from the tree's. If you went over to help please drop me a line and let me know who else was there.
HEADS UP!! The helicopter ride was up to $3.13 cents. I have up'd the ante to $50. Who's next? Remember the $$ goes towards the Police Bike fund. Don't be stingy.
Lets talk T-Shirts for minute. Since we got a late start on the whole thing I'll suggest the Civic Club pay for them at the next meeting. If you think this is a bad idea you'll need to be there to vote on it. If you think It's a good idea you need to be there to vote on it too. The logistics are a bit fuzzy but I think we can pull it off. The last day to order is October 29th that's a Monday. That means you have 14 shopping days left. Keep in mind there will be no extras ordered and this is a one time gig. We only get one 50th birthday. Well most of us anyhow. Moving right along. The colors available are Blue and White. I know, I know, Royal blue. And don't get me started on white. It's a freakin T-Shirt. I happen to be off on the Friday before the celebration so I'll have your shirts at the Club House for pick up. If you write a check make it out to the Civic Club. Kimmy please make a note that I'll need a bank for the night to make some change. Since it's Friday I'll be there from 5p till 9p to give you plenty of time to get home and get comfortable and send someone else up to pick up your shirts. And the next time you see Al Burns thank him for the awesome design.

The U.S. Military is us. There is no truer
representation of a country than the people that it sends into the field
to fight for it. The people who wear our uniform and carry our rifles
into combat are our kids, and our job is to support them, because
they're protecting us.
Welcome to our little slice of paradise! Clear Lake Shores is probably one of the best kept secrets in the entire Bay Area. Yes we are an island. We are surrounded by Clear Lake, Jarbo Bayou and the Lazy Bend canals. Plug this in to Google Maps and you'll see what I mean 29.32' by 95.01' We are about half way between Galveston Island and the city of Houston and located in north Galveston county. I will try to keep us up on all the goings on that we can walk, boat, bike or drive our golf carts to. Very few things pi$$ me off but one of them is wasting my precious time. I'll try not to waste yours. Enjoy. ab
