IslandDrumz

Welcome to our little slice of paradise! Clear Lake Shores is probably one of the best kept secrets in the entire Bay Area. Yes we are an island. We are surrounded by Clear Lake, Jarbo Bayou and the Lazy Bend canals. Plug this in to Google Maps and you'll see what I mean 29.32' by 95.01' We are about half way between Galveston Island and the city of Houston and located in north Galveston county. I will try to keep us up on all the goings on that we can walk, boat, bike or drive our golf carts to. Very few things pi$$ me off but one of them is wasting my precious time. I'll try not to waste yours. Enjoy. ab

The capitol of Texas was dedicated in Austin. Construction and planning took more than seven years.

OK Candy is out otherwise we would really need to give the kids coffee between 8-9. Not so much a problem for me and Dave since we don't have children but maybe the rest of you don't want to be up at 1AM. I expect you fans to show up like the "Rocky Horror" version of Captain Ron. We all know lines like "If it's gonna happen - It's gonna happen out there" Shout em out!!! Can't wait. Great sunset - if you haven't come there yet please do so we can get to know ya

PLEASE, the election thing is not yet over. Get out and vote for my friend Mark Foster for Commissioner.

And if you have been reading this blog for the past year, you will remember the names of Bill Young (running for Sheriff) and his attorney Paul LeValle (running for Constable). They are on the ballot and could impact your life even more than they did when they were thanking Tami Perkins for her service to our communtiy by going after oue police chief Paul Shelley and wife Tina.

Its not over. Get out there and vote again. I voted yesterday at our club house. Easy.
