IslandDrumz

Welcome to our little slice of paradise! Clear Lake Shores is probably one of the best kept secrets in the entire Bay Area. Yes we are an island. We are surrounded by Clear Lake, Jarbo Bayou and the Lazy Bend canals. Plug this in to Google Maps and you'll see what I mean 29.32' by 95.01' We are about half way between Galveston Island and the city of Houston and located in north Galveston county. I will try to keep us up on all the goings on that we can walk, boat, bike or drive our golf carts to. Very few things pi$$ me off but one of them is wasting my precious time. I'll try not to waste yours. Enjoy. ab

So, what I’m hearing is the former Mayor wants to spend EDC money on what is clearly a Roads and Drainage issue? Really? I mean Really?! Let’s talk to R and D about cleaning out the ditches and leave the EDC to Develop Economic policies.

Thank you, Allan, for being logical about the responsiblity of R & D doing the ditches. Here is another concept, Wrong Way Kathy, residents can keep their ditches clean. EDC - no, not their job.

As soon as everyone realizes there are a couple of assholes out there posting bullshit under anon just because they can and recognize it for what it is we can move along. If you recognize their postings for what they are you will give them the consideration they deserve.

Thank you for your consideration.

Bryan, I could not hear some comments either. I wish all would be required to use a microphone at EDC and especially CC.

I am amazed once again that a former mayor gets basic concepts, roles, responsibilites way wrong.

The former mayor is only validating her mob name of Wrong Way. I wish someone would take credit for those names. They were brillant. My fav was " " for Tami.

To me, Allan, it is hilarious that instead of realizing the assholes here, some people challenge them. What is the point?

Now to something more worth discussion. The rain forecast for Saturday is bad. Could we consider moving the Golf Cart Parade to Sunday. We will get a lot more participation and decoration if the Sun is shining. It will still be Mardi Gras!!

Also great news about Val. I was going to organize something where a bunch of us could plant her front walkway but I was afraid of upsetting the goose. I plan to drow some flower plants off just to spruce up her front porch. She loves to sit out there. I will be at the shop tomorrow
