Well the Jerk Off was a hit. Best guess is there were 50+ folks that showed up but some of our judging staff was AWOL. The lovely ladies pulled it off (pun intended) anyway. Great job Shanna and her judging team. I’ll post the full results if I can get my hands on them but the MAIN results are this.
Rick won 1st and 3rd in the store bought category with Buc-ees’ off the shelf Sweet and Spicy and another as yet unnamed
Rob Brown took second
Glen took both places in the home mades with his fresh off his smoker venison and wild hog versions.
MJ & I got our first sunburns of the year replacing all the frost bit crap in the yard. It’s all starting to come together. It needs more color I think. The Farmers Market is turning 2 next month. Hard to believe it’s been two years. There’s gonna be a party so mark it on your calendar. Not sure what the other vendors are lining up but we are planning something special just to say thanks. Come on out and visit.
From Deb Sherwin….”we spoke to Melinda yesterday about the Farmers Market 2 year anniversary being celebrated on 4/16. ( I believe you all will be there hopefully) We would appreciate it if you would include a little plug in your blog. We are hoping to get a good turnout and would like to see a lot of Clear Lake Shores residents. In addition to the regular vendors, we will have Mickey Hobbs as the singer, the Bay Area Turning Point is having a bake sale to benefit their resale shop, and other special events to be determined.
Welcome home Adams family! Glad you had a wonderful time but we missed you.
